Measurement and Analysis Tool for News Visibility in the Google Ecosystem (RFI)
OBJECT OF THE RFI
Yleisradio Oy (later “Yle”) is preparing a public tender of measurement and analysis tool for news visibility in the Google Ecosystem. This request for information is aimed to enter discourse with interested parties, and gather information for tender purposes.
The object of the procurement is an analytics tool that measures and reports news visibility in the Google ecosystem in Finland in the Finnish language in real-time (with an option additionally for the Swedish language in Finland).
Yle aims to enhance the speed and relevance of its news operations and improve event planning. Google's ecosystem* and its services are widely used in Finland at a national level, and its impact on the discoverability and reach of content and services is significant.
The goal of the procurement is to obtain a SaaS solution which provides clear and up-to-date picture of the news topics being searched within Google search engine ecosystem, the emerging news topics, and how our organization compares to other news outlets in terms of news visibility.
*By Google news ecosystem, we mean features where news/articles can appear (Google search results, Google Top Stories, Google News, Google Discover)
