The Assigner of this tender is the Bothnian Coastal Route project (Interreg Aurora project), including northern Finnish and Swedish destinations around Bothnian Bay. The project aims to increase awareness of the region around the Bothnian Bay and over the Kvarken Strait as an attractive travel route for both foreign visitors and the local population.

While showcasing the Bothnian Coastal Route region at international workshops and marketing events, the project team has observed a growing interest from target markets towards the region. Therefore the project is now seeking expertise to develop and market round-trip tour productions to the region during the last year of the project.

Bothnian Coastal Route sees this co-operation as a learning process for the selected tour operators to gain in-depth knowledge of the area, creating credibility for it as an established travel region and mentor suppliers in the region. Further, the tour productions are a practice for more suppliers in the region to gain first-hand knowledge from tour operators. We seek a long-term commitment from the tendering.
