Hansel Oy is a non-profit limited company, and that acts as a central purchasing body for central and local governments in Finland. We are tendering a license for a headless content management system (CMS) to support Hansel.fi web service.

Our current platform

Our website hansel.fi is built using Django framework, with the content production layer implemented on Django CMS. Additionally, some content, such as customer and framework agreement information, is integrated directly from MS Dynamics. However, Django CMS no longer fully meets our content production needs. As a result, its role is being scaled back, and we are seeking to replace it with a Headless CMS solution that better supports modern content management requirements.

What we are looking for

We aim to produce content in a headless CMS while implementing and integrating it into our existing Django environment. Additionally, we want the solution to offer flexibility to deliver content to other services and platforms in the future, ensuring scalability and adaptability for evolving needs.

We are seeking a solution that meets the following requirements:

-Advanced content creation, scheduling and management capabilities for planning and publishing content, such as news, blogs and informative pages.

-A user-friendly interface with intuitive tools for content creation and collaboration.

-Robust version control to efficiently track changes and manage content iterations.

-Comprehensive and versatile backup system to ensure secure storage, quick restoration, and integrity of data in case of system failures or unforeseen incidents.

-Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality to ensure seamless and secure user authentication.

-The solution must be a cloud-based service with all servers and data storage located within the EU/EEA region, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection regulations.

-Omnichannel abilities to distribute content seamlessly to multiple channels, including web, our tendering services and possible mobile apps in the future.

Registered suppliers are welcomed to give a max 30 minute demo of their solution. The demo sessions will be held during the weeks 3 and 4, 2025.

The market dialogue also includes the possibility to give written commentary on the Call for tenders and its attachments. The written commentary is planned to be held in March 2025. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to make changes to the schedule.
