Kuvaus
In this procurement, Gasgrid Vetyverkot Oy and Gasgrid Finland Oy together as the Contracting Authority are seeking for three (3) strategic project management consulting partners to provide project management consulting services, to set up a central project management office (PMO) and a person to lead the central PMO services in an interim position. Core PMO supports the Contracting Authority in implementing its hydrogen business strategy within the objectives as described more detail in this contract notice and its annexes.
The core PMO will be organizationally based in Contracting Authority’s Hydrogen Business Unit Management organization.
The PM resources shall work in particular with following tasks and in following roles, but not limited to these: program managers, project managers, project coordinators, project assistants, enterprise architects, project team leads and project team members for the hydrogen transmission pipeline projects.
PMO Services consist of various project management office tasks in various levels and various service scopes. Projects may last from several months to several years and may have international dimensions. Core PMO tasks and responsibilities include for example, but not limited to, facilitating decision making forums, running project reporting processes, support for workstream specific project management activities, project change management, support for project risk management, portfolio level financial reporting and controlling as well as portfolio schedule and progress management.
During the contract period, the Contracting Authority organizes mini-competitions among the awarded Service Providers for selecting the Service Provider for each individual Assignment. Assignments define the commitment to be ordered and supplied. Assignments will be introduced more closely on a later phase of this procurement. The selection criteria utilized for each Assignment is price and quality ratio. Tendering for any of the Assignments is not mandatory.
The Contracting Authority assesses the service needs in 3-6-month cycles and orders the PM resources and PMO Services with 3-month cycles in advance with Assignments. The Contracting Authority and each selected Service Provider will review the performance and upcoming workload on a quarterly basis during the contract period.
The Contracting Authority has no obligation to buy and none of the selected Service Providers has exclusive rights to the service or any part of it.
