Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning to procure a fish egg sorting machine for its research infrastructure in Taivalkoski. Luke’s aquaculture facility is located in Taivalkoski, and the fish egg sorting machine is being procured for the handling of live fish eggs, mostly salmonid eggs.
The planned procurement concerns a fish egg sorting machine that uses an optical system for fish egg sorting. The machine must be suitable for sorting salmonid eggs, and it must be suitable for sorting dead fish eggs from viable/live fish eggs. The fish eggs to be processed have a diameter of approximately 4–8 millimetres.
