Kuvaus
The object of the procurement is one (1) full-size humanoid robot (hereafter referred to as the robot) intended for research, teaching, robotics development and embodied AI experimentation at the University of Oulu. The robot will be used for autonomous behaviour development, AI based motion control, human-robot interaction experiments. The robot must support open-source software ecosystems, ensuring reusability of development environments, tools and libraries.
The procurement is co-funded by the Council of Oulu Region, European Regional Development Fund, ERDF (Drone Logistics Service Point project). The project sources and forms part of a larger multi year robotics development program.
The procurement is dependent on an extension of the project implementation period. The procurement contract will be signed with the selected supplier if the funder grants the extension. The decision on the extension is expected in June 2026.
