This procurement concerns a laboratory-scale biogas pilot plant that will be manufactured solely for research and educational purposes within a university setting in Zambia. The plant is a unique, custom-designed unit, not available as a standard commercial product, and will not be used for mass production or commercial deployment.
The procurement is undertaken within the project SF-BioVac (“Sustainable Futures - Biogas Value Chain for Circular Economy Competence Growth for Zambia”), with financing from the Higher Education Partnership (HEP) Programme under the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and administered by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
As the main coordinator of the project, Novia University of Applied Sciences coordinates the procurement process on behalf of the project team, representing the buyer University of Zambia.
