Kuvaus
Novia University of Applied Sciences offers high-class work entrenched UAS education for our graduate students, as well as continuing education. We conduct Research, Development, and Innovation activities relevant to the outside world. We are responsive to the needs of working life and lay the foundations for the sustainable development of society.
FT-NIR instrument
The solution should include a high-resolution Fourier-Transform Near Infrared (FT-NIR) spectrometer with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio. The spectrometer should be capable of both at-line and in-line measurements and come equipped with a variety of accessories to ensure optimal presentation of different sample types, including solids, powders, slurries, and liquids.
Sampling accessories
The solution offered must include optimized sampling accessories enabling representative scanning of samples, including two separate modules, one for 1) liquids and one for 2) powders and slurries.
1) Measurement module for powders and slurries
The solution must be provided with an optimized sampling accessory for heterogenic powders and mixtures. A spinning, lidded sample container is required to ensure proper tumbling, mixing, and protection from environmental influence, with no need for repacking between sampling, instrument analysis and reference analysis.
2) Measurement module for liquids
The instrument must be provided with an optimized sampling accessory for liquids. A temperature-controlled accessory is needed, allowing user-set temperatures up to at least 100 °C, displaying the actual temperature, providing space for pre-heating, and accommodating glass vials of variety of diameters.
Running costs
To keep running cost of the analyzer low consumables must be inexpensive or cleanable and re-useable many times without compromising analytical performance. The instrument must not have a planned maintenance schedule and the lights source should have an average expected lifetime of 10 years.
Remote monitoring
The instrument must be able to be connected to a remote SaaS-quality assurance platform. This enables the possibility to remotely monitor the system and it is also very useful for trouble shooting.
Software and hardware
Additionally, the solution should feature software for acquiring, viewing, and manipulating spectra, along with chemometric software for building both quantitative and qualitative calibration models. The system should also include an external, all-in-one, Windows-based computer for the software.
