Kuvaus
A laboratory setup is being built for testing electrical drive systems for research and education purposes. The setup consists of two back-to-back connected liquid cooled electrical machines (a motor and a load machine). A calorimetric setup is required to analyse the power losses in the motor (or motor-inverter package).
This procurement concerns the design and development of a closed chamber – calorimetric setup, including its associated components. Schematic drawing of the expected setup is attached, provided the freedom for any alterations.
The two different electrical machines available are intended to be interchangeably used as either motor or load machine. Thus, the calorimetric setup should be compatible for testing both machines, and future motors (or motor-inverter packages) within a similar power and cooling range.
The setup is part of the Research Council of Finland local research infrastructures project "Digital electrification infrastructure / DELI".
Project is about to end soon and for this reason the procurement is affected by time-dependent conditions.
